In January 2017, the New Yorker magazine “Sophisticated Weddings” published the pictures I took on New Year’s Eve on the occasion of the charming wedding of Charles and Juliana at Chateau Challain, France.
The bride is a Colombian model and she wears a Galia Lahav dress she has purchased in London.
The event was organized by LLG Events from Brooklyn, New York, while the extraordinary floral arrangements were made by David Kimmel Designs, Texas.
Although the temperature was well below zero degrees ( from -5°C to -12°C) the newlywed couple desired to have some pictures outside of the restaurant, and we managed to accomplish their desire with the support of the Chateau Challain’s staff.
To take the pictures we had decided to take a walk outside to portray the beauty of the garden blanketed in snow (accompanied by thermos with boiling coffee and hot orange juice as every 2- 3 minutes, we, and the newlyweds, were in serious difficulties because of the lashing wind and the frost ).
But the program that followed, on the other hand, was very hot and this due to the contagious Latin atmosphere of the bride’s guests, who celebrated Juliana and Charles and the beginning of the new year with joy and happiness.
